I really wanted to like these first time ordering from Duluth as well as this brand. Definitely disappointed at the price point that they are at. They don't breathe at all and they feel more like workout/bike shorts. Too stretchy don't feel they will last at all under work conditions. For the price point, they're at they should be 100% cotton of a heavy mil. I like the layout I like the pockets, but that's pretty much where it ends. The lack of breathability is a dealbreaker for me, which is attributed to the nylon in the spandex. Seems like many manufactures today are chipping out on 100% cotton, adding dies and as a future when really it just takes away from the overall product wearing shorts outside in the heat and not having them breathe properly is a dealbreaker and no, please don't add that other fabric that wicks away moisture just use cotton. They've been using it forever and it breathes.

These 10" AKHG shorts have excellent moisture wicking, such that I wear them when kayaking. The fabric is truly phenomenal. They look great, especially since they aren't cargo shorts with bulky pockets, yet they have 7 functional pockets for superb storage capacity as far as shorts go. The zippered phone pocket is massive so that it'll fit any of these modern, gigantic phones. These are suitable for a night out in the city, or a hike. They fit true to size for me.
I like that they have the elastic which does make them easier to move and stretch in them. All in all a well made good looking pair of shorts.Right
These are nice shorts. I usually wear a 36" waist. I ordered a pair in that size and they were too big. I returned them and ordered a 34" waist and they were too small, so I will be returning these. Very frustrating. I do wish you offered odd waist sizes (33, 35, and 37). Until then, no more shorts.
This is my 2nd pair of Stone Run shorts, they run a little small, I usually take a 36, but had to go with a 38. They are tough but really comfortable and fit amazing. I like the pocket styles and the phone pocket is great. They ran out last year, and I wish they had a tan color, but still my go to summer shorts.
