The zippers on the front cargo pockets are dangerous because they cause that area to snag on things like plywood corners, cabinet knobs, bicycle handlebars if you brush against them. The zippers are also not necessary because the pockets have a top entry with velcro flap.
I've worn the flex fire hose shorts and pants for years, and this year I decided to try these quick dry shorts as I'm around water a lot. They didn't disappoint! They're super comfortable and lightweight. They wear like the flex firehose shorts and pants, so if you've used those before be confident in ordering the same size. I love them!
What happened? I do miss your older DOTF style shorts - they had more flex and stretch. They also snugged up better and are still lightweight and dry out fast. No 5 stars just 4 stars for that reason. Newer is not always better.
I love these shorts. Very comfortable. They aren't advertised as stain resistant but I've spilled a lot of food, drinks and condiments on these and they clean up perfectly. I wish they would bring back the dark blue color.
