I used to buy at least 5-6 pairs of the pants a year for the last 8 years. Sadly, I won't be buying these pants anymore. First, they discontinued the "steel blue", and then the overall quality has gone down as well. The pants are thinner, and they wear out faster. Last year over the holidays I went in to one of the stores in North Carolina, and the store looked horrible, trashed. It looked like a bargain basement store with the same ole Duluth Prices.

I really like any Duluth trousers made of Firehose Flex material. I think that the first ones I purchased 7 years ago may have been made out of slightly heavier material. I wish Duluth would increase the weight of the fabric. Nonetheless, this is a great trouser. Started buying competitor's trousers due to the high cost of Duluth products, but went back to Duluth. The others did not fit as well and were not as comfortable. I like the change pocket in the bottom of the right front pocket. I like the size of the cell phone pocket. I would like to see a green color in both the carpenter and foreman styles. Keep up the good work!
I shouldnstart by saying i love duluth trading. I have socks, underwear, shirts, hoodies, flannels and many pants. My go to pant for multiple years was the flex firehouse double front pants. Theyre heavy duty but comfortable. They offered them in a whiskey brown that was perfect. Theyve since discontinued that color in favor of a lighter beechnut color that shows dirt and stains much more and results in looking less professional when im working. They also appear to only be doing those pants seasonally. Which is why I had to buy these single layer firehose flex pants. The pockets on the sides are smaller and less useful than on the doublefront pants. Theyre good pants. Theyre doing the job currently and the typical duluth quality is apparent. I just wish they hadnt discontinued that perfect color and that they would run the doublefronts year round.
These used to be my favorite pants; they were basically part of my everyday uniform. The quality of the materials has drastically diminished. If you are familiar with Duluth's 40 Grit line of clothing, that is now what you are getting.
These are still pretty good pants but the weight of the material has been dramatically decreased so, in my opinion, the quality of the product has also been decreased.
