My usual shoe/boot size is 11 wide, but they were a pinch too short, the width was fine. Returned the 11s and got 11-1/2s that fit great. Another reviewer's previous comment about being stiff is absolutely true, they are very stiff out of the box, but maybe it just takes time to loosen up with wear. Appears to be made of good quality although they are made in China. Not much cushion in the soles, don't buy if you want to walk long distances in comfort

I've had a few pair of boots in the past that I couldn't get broken in because it was too painful. These were great! Just like any real leather boot there is some breaking in to do but after a few wears they are by far my favorite
I've had great success with almost all of the Duluth clothing I've gotten over the years. The one area though that I've had zero luck with is their footwear. Unfortunately this continues with their chukka boot. Like most what drew me was their looks. They look fantastic, a bit rugged yet can be dressed up when needed. These are one of Duluth's best looking boot/shoes they have put out. Most of their foot wear looks cheap with tones of synthetic a plastic looking construction. These look much more premium though. However they feel terrible on the foot. Terrible, hard & flat with a wimpy insole that gives zero cushion. The worst part though is how they feel around your ankles. These cut into my ankles so bad by the end of the day I can't wait to get them off. So unfortunate ly these will be going back on the second hand market and I will stick to jeans/jackets & flannels when it comes to Duluth.
Got these for Xmas. Comfortable right out the box. Will update when I've had the chance to wear them a few times.
Easily the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn out of the box. It's like having a pair of cinder blocks on your feet. To add insult to injury you have to pay $7.99 to return them.
