When you get these shoes they are very stiff. My original order of size 11M were almost impossible to get on. I exchanged them for 11W which were a bit easier to get on. I used a shoehorn. Once on, these shoes are tight and stiff. I feel they will require a fairly long breakin period but should be fine after broken in. Otherwise the quality seems top notch and they should last a long time. I said I would recommend to a friend. Yes, but with the breakin warning.

It's my third pair over the years and they never disappoint. They fit well and look great. They last a long time too, I've gotten plenty of years out them.
Fit is good and I find them comfortable. They are a little hard to put on but I keep a shoe horn handy and that solves it. Excellent soles. I've had them for about a month and worn quite a bit.
I have not ordered from Duluth in some years but the quality seems good. The free shipping took a month ( said two weeks…) though so I didn't have them for my hiking trip to the desert.
I'm on my 4th or 5th set. They're my go-to for winter in-town footware. The brown version is easier to keep looking clean than the black; grey is intermediate.
