I didn't give it 5 stars because I've had it less than a month and can't speak to the durability factor. 602/215 lbs (XL is perfect) I work in the woods/mountains and fish the same. I've worn it for both, fantastic material; you kinda forget you are wearing it. (soft and non-itchy) Merino wool can be tricky, depending on the quality and manufacturing, this works.

Bought this for my 3x (6') son-in-law as a base layer to work out in the cold as an electrician. He loved it so much and was so stretchy that he asked where I purchased it. Wanted another so I bought him the black one, too. So nice that he could even wear it outside of work. Looked all over for something 3x with wool in it and this was the item! Don't hesitate.
Bought the top and bottoms in black. Really good base layer. Got them out once working in 17 degrees and colder. Breathe really nice and keep you really warm.
I have been searching for an extended period for a washable base partial zip top that was not fleece, but a close knit fabric for my husband to wear under his windbreaker, raincoat or winter coat for additional warmth. All the other "medium" weight tops I've tried from other companies were actually thin and lightweight. This one is just right and a has a true medium to heavier fabric weight.The red is more of a cranberry color. Worth the price.
Just got them feels great on the skin wasn't sure about the 1/4 zip. Got the leggings as well. The only complaint I have is I overnighted it and it took a week will use the free shipping from now on. Not Duluth's fault just wanted to ensure people save their money on shipping. As a comparison I ordered underwear for my daughter and it comes in tomorrow and used free shipping( ordered the same day)
