Cons: 1. Waaayyyy too expensive for ONE pair! 2. Little or no wicking effect where it's needed most 3. Leg openings are irritating (they chafe & cause a rash) 4.Not true to size even according to your own size chart 5. Recommend hand washing (using the washing machine changed the feel & comfort of the fabric) Pros: 1. Not tight 2. waistband elastic is nicely covered, very comfortable & sits at waist

If you're looking for underwear that are taller and bigger than the redwoods in the forest you love hiking, this is what you want. If you need you underwear to rise above the waist of your favorite high rise jeans, get these. I can say with certainty that these will dry on the fly as advertised and not just because of the wicking material. You will also notice a nice breeze keeping you cool as the wind flows right through and flutters the oversized leg gussets. These are a lovely soft material, but just be sure to size down at least 2 sizes. I sized down 1 and they were still way too large.
All of my other Duluth underwear and clothing I wear a 3X. I wanted these for hiking. When they arrived with other underwear I ordered they were massively large in comparison. I exchanged for a 2X and they were also very large I tried them over a pair of jeans and they were loose. I would have exchanged again to an XL because they look like they would be very comfortable hiking, but 1x is the smallest size.
I like the fabric and performance of the underwear and will buy again, but will go down one size. I learned upon first wear that the leg holes are too large and the crotch gusset is too long. I wasn't about to try and return used underwear so I kept it, but it's a disappointment. Usually Duluth items are very true to size.
Like another reviewer, I bought these specifically for travel since they are quick-dry. It turns out they are sooooo comfortable I too bought more and will wear them even at home. And guess what - no panty lines! I would love a wider variety of colors.
