The only reason I gave this item 4 stars is that it is a lot heavier than I expected. That's not bad, but it is really for a work sweatshirt, not something casual but warm. I care for horses, so it fits the bill for that purpose.

I live on the coast next to a rainforest. It's always chilly and wet here. I love this hoody! No binding around the waist and hips, hangs flat, offering coverage of the keester. I find it's also good against wind chill and didn't get a bit wet when I ended up getting caught in a downpour. I don't have a problem with the hood, it's great to wear over a hat or alone. I find it very cozy without being bulky when working and the sleeves stay out of the way with generous well made cuffs. Very well made product that I'll probably get years of wear.
Love this
This is a thick sweatshirt, more like the athletic style sweatshirts from the old days . Thick, warm and somewhat boxy, it can easily be worn over a turtleneck or other layer for extra warmth. Its a good choice for cold windy days in the Great Lakes region when a Alberta Clipper is bearing down weather-wise. Haven't washed it yet, but am curious to see if it will shrink. Only one small con: it was poorly packaged for shipment, stuffed into the mailing envelope instead of being shipped in its own plastic bag( which I reuse) . Not sure why the folks in Adairville GA, couldn't add this extra layer of protection.
I have owned lots and lots of hoodies. None of them have ever looked SQUARE in front, until now. As it was, I wanted a medium in Elderberry & every time I put it in my cart, it was suddenly "out of stock" (tried many times) so I tried the orangey one (which is a pretty color, closer to red) in large and I've never seen anything shaped like it. It's too bad. I love the hidden pocket pouch. So tired of 'saddlebags' on the outside of everything. But again, the men's version is better quality. Duluth is killin me. 😖
