Size
Love this, bought mine last year. Could you please make it without the hood and with a mock neck. Or even a zip off hood.
Bought this jacket for myself last winter before a trip to NY. Got the XS based on the size guide (5'4, 110lbs, 34" bust, 27" waist), and almost returned it for a S because it felt a little snug in the armpits when worn with a thick sweater. But it already looked pretty bulky, so I decided not to size up. It's plenty warm at 30 degrees with a sweater (I run cold), but since I can't layer too much under it, I'd choose a different coat for anything much colder. Love the fleece-lined hood and outside pockets, and having so many pockets in general. Only complaints are that it's very heavy to carry (and doesn't pack down small), and that the hang hook is on the outside rather than inside at the label.
I sold my duck cloth jacket from the big name brand to buy this one, and I'm so glad I did! I'm 5'7 but with long arms. The other jacket hit too short in both the arms and the waist. This one is perfection! It's not stiff at all after five min it es of wear. Gussets help the arms move smoothly. The pockets are Sherpa lined and so warm. It's heavy without being awkward or bulky. I'm wearing it in the chilly house like a hoodie. The waist doesn't ride up—not too tight. Slightly big for the size but not much. So many companies make clothes for short little women. I'm so tired of having to size up to get another inch in arm length. Thanks to Duluth for providing an amazing jacket. It's perfect.
I wore this jacket for the first time on a very heavy rainy night at Zoolights. I stayed warm and dry. The rain was beading off really well. The hood and pockets are great. It feels very sturdy and great quality.
