I bought these because of the New York Times Wirecutter review/recommendation AND they were on SALE! I sent them back once because they were too small... and am sending back the larger size (which does fit) but the one day i wore them... my feet were freezing. never had a snow boot where my feet felt the cold coming thru. they aren't the easiest to get on and off because they are soft/floppy BUT i assumed that would be the case when purchased. the rating is mainly because my feet felt COLD which was a total dealbreaker for me living in the snowy mountains.

Size
I ordered my normal size I wear in boots and these fit spot on. They "look" kind of small on the feet for some reason, but they fit and are very comfortable. Definitely keep you warm in very cold temps and are very light weight, which is great. But being light weight, they are a little less supportive. By this I mean, they are a softer style boot so your foot is not exactly surrounded with support. The have decent cushioning on the bottom, but I felt my feet shift side to side at times. If I wore a heavy sock or 2 pairs of socks, there might be less side to side movement. All in all very happy!
