Women's Dry on the Fly 7" Shorts
Wet happens, whether you're caught in a downpour or scrubbing your sheepdog. But getting doused doesn't mean you're stuck wearing soggy shorts. Especially when you can suit up in totally redesigned Dry on the Fly® Shorts. They're still made of the same lightweight, abrasion-resisting nylon that goes from drenched to dry in the blink of an eye. Even better, we've built in 3% spandex for free-wheeling flex. And widened the elastic-back comfort waistband so it stretches without bunching or gaps. A new and improved button-close waist adds the security you crave. Plus, a secret Crouch Gusset® lets you kneel or climb without getting tweaked. To top it off, UPF 50 sun protection spares you from suffering a nasty sunburn. Grab a pair and give 'em a dry run!

I completely agree about the other review of having less color selections in the 7 inch compared to the 10 inch. I am only 5'2" and the 10 inch makes me look even shorter. Please bring all the same colors to the 7 inch.
Why are we getting fewer colors in the 7" than the 10"? A lot of people prefer the 7", because we don't need to be prudes and cover our bodies to the knees. These are the far superior Duluth short, and I'd like the full range of colors in the 7".
I pretty much live in shorts year 'round. My wardrobe was getting pretty thin when I tried these Dry on the Fly shorts. Wow... they're perfect. Lots of pockets, great fitting and the 7" length is just the thing for my short legs. I've purchased a total of three pair plus the Dry on the Fly long pants...another winner from Duluth!
I am so disappointed! I was super excited for the button closure. My older DOTFs fit great but I didn't like the snap. Ordered the same size as always (18) in black and the new ones ARE SO SMALL. They are cut lower so they crotch cut and I can't even come close to buttoning them. There isn't an option to go up in size. I love these shorts because I am a midsize girl with athletic legs and they don't billow like other shorts. Ordered the new and improved DOTF pants with the shorts. Same problem. However I bought the magenta and could wear them, a little tight but at least could button them and they might stretch. I don't know what the problem is with the black shorts and pants but they are definitely small. Duluth please look into this! These were my go to, but now they are the same as any other brand - cut narrow and low.
