I got a women's 9.5 and the work boots are very well made. However, they are extremely tight and cramped with work socks. I tried a thinner sock and still very tight in the width (my foot is a medium width, nothing out of the ordinary) and difficult to get on. They are fine (albeit snug) without socks but that will not work for me. The length is fine. I am going to try one more sock type (a very thin silk ski sock) to see if that makes a difference because I really like them otherwise. As it stands, I probably will return them and perhaps exchange for a men's 8 (not sure that is even a possibility).

True, Duluth, there's nothing like a good work boot and these aren't it. My first pair split at the seam after 3 months of gardening work. You were great about replacing them. My replacement pair didn't even make it through one month. You should be able to WORK in a work boot. The leather is extremely stiff and by the time they're broken in, they're broken! Such a bummer. Why is it so hard to find a decent, long lasting women's work boot? The search continues.

Cute and nice quality; the size didn't make any sense to me. I have had a pair of Keen boots I purchased from Duluth more than three years ago and splurged on these because I needed a new pair of work boots and I thought they would also be cute to wear with jeans this winter. Reviews I read stated that if the person purchasing the boots was in-between sizes, they should order the smaller size (which I did). In my case, I think if I would have ordered the 1/2 size up, the boots would have been way too long, and I would have probably frequently tripped in them (especially when climbing stairs at work) as I am not accustomed to the length of that boot style. They were too small (narrow) for me as far as width goes; but plenty long. I had to squeeze my toes into them (I ordered the size I usually wear), and I knew right away, it would take more than a "breaking in" period for them to fit. They were also pretty stiff. I cannot imagine them at the end of a long day on my feet, so I promptly returned them. I don't order wide shoes (usually order medium), but enjoy the room of the toe box in Keen boots. If you appreciate the toe box in Keens, I'm not sure these shoes will fit, or feel comfortable to you.
My boots are two years old now and really broken in. I love them. I'm a potter and my studio is in the basement of our house. I'm on a hard cold concrete floor all day. These boots are so comfortable and supportive that by the evening my feet do not complain. Now that's saying something. Other footwear have let me down. It's Danner for me here on out! Here they are all cleaned up with new laces.

These boots look great with many outfits- one of my go to pairs. Comfortable, but after 8 hours on my feet, I can feel it. Purchasing insoles to make these ideal.
