I originally ordered the taupe boots, they were on clearance and finally within my price range. I was planning an international trip and very excited to wear them, but two weeks later they hadn't arrived. I got an email offering a replacement, but they only has the tan. I was happy with that (I've been watching the price, and they never dropped to my price range). They didn't make it on time for my vacation, I was bummed. Almost two months after ordering, I got my boots! The first thing I noticed was that one of them was previously warn. The leather had a folded mark, and some dirt on the sole. The other boot was new. But, whatever. I got the tan for the clearance taupe price, I could deal with it. And, who knows when I'd get a replacement. I had to call customer service a couple of times, and the ladies were lovely. The fit was okay, slightly too big. I'm somewhere between a 9.5 and a 10 (USA), I got a 41 as recommended by the website. They fit like a 10.5, almost 11. I have to heartless thicker socks, but that's fine. The arch is slightly too far back, but doable. I've walked miles so far in them, and they are still comfy. First few days of wearing them, I got some rubbing, but not again. They were so cute, and I had a "new boot attitude". But on day 3, they were so badly scuffed and the tip of one started to peel. I've had them nearly a month, and they are holding up for office work and occasional evenings out (except for all the scuffing). Overall, I'm disappointed in the shipping, the fact I got one worn boot, and the scuffing. I like the comfort for office wear and walking. I wouldn't recommend them, or purchase again at full price! But, as a clearance boot.... it's almost worth it
