I purchased these shoelaces in two different lengths for two different pairs of hiking boots. They are exactly what I hoped for. They stay tied, no more double knots to keep my boots from coming untied.

I've only had these laces for a few weeks and so far they do not disappoint. They're stiff at first however after a few weeks they soften up.
Shoe laces were hard to find soft clerk directed us to right location.
Full disclosure: I bought these for my Sorel boots I bought at Scheels. I'm not a tradesman and I don't need indestructible laces. I just needed durable laces that would stay tied; the simple act of walking would loosen the stock laces that came with the boots, no matter how tight I tied them. These tie securely and stay tied! They're waxy like fancy dress shoe laces but a little thicker and not as sticky as one might expect. Very happy with these!
These saved the boots. They hold the tie and have a different rather sticky feel to them without being sticky. There is nothing more annoying than inadequate laces and these are over the top good quality!
