Thank you! I will add them to my button collection.
8-Pack Antique Gold Buttons
Hey, you’re no seamstress. With these “instant” replacement buttons, you don’t need to be, because you just hammer them together when you need suspender buttons, or replacements on your work jacket or shirt. Life is tough enough already without having to mess around with a needle and thread – ouch!
- Genuine antique brass with electroplated finish
- Hammer together – no sewing required
- Metal shaft and shanks built to last years
- Nickel and lead free
- Eight buttons in a pack – enough to convert work pants into suspender pants
- Work on jackets and shirts, too
- Imported
These have proven to be the best I have found anywhere. I have tried others but they just don't hold up. These are the best.
Received my 5 pkg of the Antique Gold Buttons and 5pkg Antique Silver Buttons and really like them. Working well using them to replace old snaps on 20 pairs of shorts, capris, and pants since old snaps wear old being securely closed. Had 1 pkg of the Antique Gold missing the tacks and spoke with Cole in customer service. He was very helpful, friendly, and took care of the problem right away. Appreciate his help. Love my shorts, capris, and pants. Was easy replacing old snaps, the made buttonhole with no problem. Snaps wear out with any clothing, but love my Duluth Trader Dry on a Fly. Was no big deal for me. Loved could save money with just thread, sewing machine and new buttons . Know my clothes fit when order, then wear excellent and look good! Thank you
I've added these to several pairs of my pants. It's a superior way to attach suspenders than clips, in my opinion. A couple of tips: 1. Poke a small pilot hole in the waistband prior to hammering the spiked part through. 2. Be sure to use a solid, flat surface and strike it straight down These buttons will serve you well if you want to add the option of suspenders.
Great button. Just as good as other buttons this style. Ive use 3 different brands and these are a little better. Instalation is easy. I poke the tack through the pants first then line up on the button and tap the tack in. Ive done several this way while placing the button face down on a 450 lb anvil. Haven't bent a tack or smashed a button yet. I use a nylon hammer or rawhide hammer works the best. The only thing i recommend is to use a large sew on button for the back of the pants. The metal ones will catch on car seat apolstry when getting in or out. Would buy again
