In Portugal, there’s a saying that goes, “A pressa é inimiga da perfeição.” Roughly translated, it means, “Haste is the enemy of perfection.” Nowhere is that philosophy more apparent than in the meticulous making of Portuguese Flannel, for centuries considered among the finest in the world. And now, just for us, these experts have woven exceptional new flannel bedding, which melds insulating warmth with the softness of pure cotton. Once woven, the fabric is painstakingly brushed inside and out to lift a fluffy “nap” that traps air in an insulating layer that holds in heat and keeps out cold. Naturally, the assembly is as exceptional as the fabric, making for extraordinary warmth and softness – even on the coldest of nights. Perfeição, indeed.
