For a trapper hat heavy on cred and cool, we enlisted the Canadian hatmaker who outfitted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to help us refine our own version. This tenured milliner drew upon his extensive experience to design a snug and secure cap that doesn't look too buttoned-up. Made of 100% nylon, the woven taslan shell is windproof, water-repellent, breathable and durable, while the 100% natural shearling beneath is a natural regulator of heat and irresistibly soft. The front flap snaps away to cover the face if you'll be camped out for a while; the ear flaps give the option for full defense against the bitter wind; and an X badge on the left side further distinguishes you from the pack.
