The elastic is a heavy 2 inch thick material I chose black, I stand 6'9" tall and am long in the upper body, so 6'3" is NOT really tall... as I've aged and had some serious health issues Gaining weight has been a problem for me an limited Mobility doesn't help, my ability to work the excess off I've had a set of 1 3/4" and the elastic is pretty shot the hardware clips is also heavier duty then typical ones you find SO While they are brand new to me today, I see them as lasting twice as long as my current ones that I had Good deal!!!

Cheap polyester. Should be made with nylon/cotton blend. And available in h-back strap. Much better quality available elsewhere.
These are my third pair. I have a long torso and there is more than enough adjustability to fit my lanky frame. I use them to hold up my armored motorcycle touring pants. They are strong comfortable and tough. (They don't wear out, I have dedicated suspenders for each pair of rising pants.)
As described. Another good product from Duluth.
Tried several different brands, bought these, I'm done shopping, they're perfect.
