Are these amazing gloves? No. They are not perfect by any means. My value in clothing is cost per wear. I buy these either on sale or ask for holiday gift. The cost per wear at full retail does not meet my expecatatioins. These do meet my preferences for fit, and functionality. I love these more than i do gloves from other stores. I've used these for Mister Car Wash, Roofing, Renovation protjects. I do burn through these. Those are issues. If the cost per wear exceeds your income to expense ratio. then these are not for you. Its all about personal preference. I agree these do wear out fast.
After years of using average to mediocre work gloves, I wanted to buy a GOOD pair. When we were at our local Duluth Trading Store, I came across these and based on the description on the package, I thought I had finally found my good pair of work gloves. Wrong! After less than a dozen or so uses, the seam on the right index finger is almost totally blown out. It started with the seam at the tip and then the seam on the side of the finger unravelled, too. And this is not from severe use - these have been used for things like hoeing, running a weed eater, and other light duty type of chores. All these gloves turned out to be were an expensive pair of poor work gloves.

Best gloves i have found so far on the market i work as an arborist and a regular pair of gloves last not even a week. Been 2 months with these gloves and still going strong
These gloves are not worth the time or money. The old gloves, made by Ironclad were far superior to these. These gloves are not wearable for any length of time, there is a seam in the fingertip area that is very uncomfortable and the fingertip material wont last a day of woodcutting. Dont waste your time with these, go to Ironclads website and get the Ranchworx. Duluth representatives, if you are listening, please bring back the quality gloves of old and get rid of the mechanics brand.

The gloves work well as far as keeping my hands dry and safe but they take a long time to get the leather soft enough to be comfortable for everyday use.
