Kiss Frost-Nipped Fingers Goodbye!

It’s not too difficult to find tough gloves or warm gloves. But it’s much harder to come by gloves that stand up to the rigors of hard work and keep frostbite from nipping your fingers. Hestra Cow Driver HD Gloves measure up on both counts. They’re made with supple, water-repellent cowhide that fends off abrasion while providing a slip-free grip. A double-layer leather palm and thumb add durability when you’re handling tools or tossing hay bales. Inside, bulk-free 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation and a toasty lining put a barrier of warmth between fingers and frigid weather.

Excellent winter work gloves

Bought these for general winter use including daily farm chores. Initially I thought they were slightly small, but they quickly stretched enough for a comfortable fit. Grip is good; better than cheaper leather gloves. The trick with winter gloves is achieving the right balance between being too tight and too loose—too tight and they restrict circulation and make your hands cold; too loose and you have zero finger dexterity. These for me are a good balance as I have mostly stayed warm in them and can use my fingers for manual tasks such as unlatching gates and opening grain sacks that I couldn't do in cheaper gloves. They seem very durable and I will be thrilled if I get multiple winters from them. Finally, they're not waterproof, but that's not a criticism as they are not advertised as such. Great value if you can get them on sale, but worth the regular price.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
