I've been waiting a long time for Duluth to offer extra long legged skivvies with their very effective "BullPen". This design keeps my testicles comfortably in place and drier than conventional briefs do. I sweat profusely in my groin and have found that these drawers help alleviate the problem. Loose legged boxer shorts are my go to for daily wear but when exercising I want my favorite bits to be held in place. Briefs or extra long legs are a must for cycling and rowing. Regular length boxer briefs ride up in these scenarios and drive me absolutely mad! Now for my gripe: why all the loud obnoxious logos and branding. I really don't want to advertise anything with my underpants!!! In the locker room I have always found conspicuous logos to be tacky at best and often an indicator of who is a lunkhead. I can live with the waistband typography, but I'll be taking a black permanent marker to logos on the legs. Please give us some more color choices and or patterns on these drawers. It is a great product but black has never been my first choice when it comes to underwear.
Men's AKHG Dry on the Fly Sport Bullpen 3D Boxer Briefs
Go for a jog without supportive gear and, well, let’s just say there’ll be a bounce in your step that you don’t need. These boxer briefs have support in spades with a Bullpen® 3D pouch to keep your parts properly nestled. Made from Dry on the Fly® fabric, they wick sweat and dry it fast like nothing else – ideal for trail runs and anything else that has you breaking a sweat. In a longer above-knee cut that fits like a good pair of compression shorts. Pull them on and go set a breakneck pace.

Top band of support pouch needs a stronger band along the top of pouch i can see where it is starting to pull and elastic band will fail in a few months .

I tried these out because I routinely wear the regular bullpen 3d boxer briefs. I wanted to see if these could replace my regular traditional style compression shorts for athletic activities, and these may do the job. I love the fit of the 3d pouch. The legs have a snug but not compressed leg wrap at the bottom of the leg sleeves. Keeps the leg from riding up. Would love to see a full leg version of bullpen 3d, but keep the same cooling tech that are on these. I usually wear full length compression tights for athletic activities. I would recommend for anyone who likes the 3d pouch and if you can find these on a good price. Hope to see a full length leg bullpen 3d in the future. I would definitely buy 2-3 pairs of those.
This is a perfect execution of the 3D Bullpen pouch. I generally buy a size smaller than the size chart suggest in Duluth and I wasn't sure if these would be cut a little too tight to continue that, but I went with it anyway and the fit is great. They are definitely a bit more snug than the standard Duluth offerings, but they still fit comfortably snug. They're not quite as snug as a true compression short, but all the performance is there. I could wear these daily. The legs have a silicone grip ring at the bottom. I don't know that this was strictly necessary, but it does keep the legs from moving. Overall these have lots of stretch to them and I can move into any position without having to adjust anything. For reference, I weigh about 315lbs, have a 44" waist in Duluth, 46" waist in most other brands, large rear and I bought a XL. Admittedly, I'm pushing the limits of that size.
These are on par with tommy johns, saxx, and all citizens, except these cost the most. The only reason I give 4 stars is the price. Bought these in Anchorage, Alaska while sale shopping. I used to wear buck naked long boxer briefs for the past decade but duluth recently changed the name on the waistband and down went the quality. Now I'm on the hunt for the next best thing. If these go on a GOOD sale, they will be my every day wear.
