The family lakehouse is one thing, but when adventure leads you up riverbanks or to the headsprings of a wilderness preserve, it calls for a more versatile kind of swimwear. AKHG™ Lost Lake™ Shorts are built for all of it. Made of a UV-blocking, fast-drying fabric that’s as comfortable on the hike out to a swimming hole as it is diving into it. Crouch Gusset® to prevent binding up when you stoop to grab paddle gear. With an Armachillo® fabric liner – same cooling tech found in your favorite Duluth boxers – to keep everything comfortable and contained whether you’re on the trail or out on the water. Colorfast treatment so it looks good year after year, no matter if you’re dipping into pools or saltwater. Plus they’re made with recycled polyester, one way of looking out for the wild you love to wander.

It does what is asked of it
The swim suit does not have the Duluth Crouch Gusset; it's a panel that tailors to the leg seem; not to the front and rear center seem. Thus not give that extra rise to the waist line at or above the hip. I'm 6'-1" 255# big thighs: so the rise is somewhat short for my body type. The waist goes short of my hip; rides low for me
As a 40-something 5' 2" AFAB kayaker with genderqueer leanings (how's that for an opener?) these swim trunks are nearly perfect. Love them for a day out on the lake with lots of wading and swimming and occasional hiking. Liner does a great job preventing chafing and means I don't need a swimsuit bottom underneath if I'm sitting awkwardly. The only problem seems like it might be durability. After just one washing the rubber tag on the leg came off, leaving small runs and holes in its place. It's just as the tic for now… hoping that's the worst of it.

The fabric of the outer shorts and the liner is very slippery. It is so slippery I couldn't keep them up around my waist. Forget putting anything heavier than a bandana in the pockets, because they will be down around your ankles as soon as you let go! I am annoyed because it cost me $7.99 to return them. One part of me wanted to include a photo of my bare butt with the shorts down around my ankles with this review, but I thought no customer should have to see that!
