The fill retail price suggests high end jacket. Given all features of the jacket I would say it is a cut above the ordinary. Have not worn it much yet. The design of the hood is, for me, a real plus. It offers good wind protection. Inner wrist cuffs, a waist wind/snow cuff, under arm zipper vents and longer than average length. It kept me warm while walking and snowwshoeing with below zero wind chill. Not sure it would do that without proper layering underneath. At this early stage of use I rate it as the best winter activity jacket in my closet.

Super warm, functional and durable. The kind of product you would expect from Duluth!
I really like this jacket, it is warm, looks nice, has the side vents under armpits, ample pockets and nice breast pocket for easy access for phone. Only gripe, and it has become extremely annoying is the Velcro cinch on the cuff as it does not stay secured (too short so that not enough Velcro is in contact) and sticks out and catches on stuff.
I have worn my Bright Orange and Red XL jacket on the Oregon Coast in sheets of rain blowing sideways.. I stayed Warm and Dry. Also when its 10 deg. Outside I've been so cozy snuggled in my blanket like jacket. I just wish it had solid inside pockets instead of net pockets. Super on sale buy!
This coat is long and full of pockets! It has several items to keep the cold out: sleeve seals, an internal belly band to keep the wind from blowing up your back, and a water resistant shell. I measured my chest and the fit was perfect. Definitely recommend!
