Good material. Suitable for hiking, sport. Stretchy. VERY Light, but still apparently strong enough. Fit notes: (i) these AKHG list as "standard." Yet the legs are a bit tight, so they catch when you are putting them on. Given the relevance for hiking, a loose fit alternate would be great. (ii) I'm long-legged - a 35 inseam, so 36 is safest. Longest available here is "34." True dimensions vary . Basically, had I known that these are a median 34 I wouldn't have bought them. The limited availability of 36 inseam is a big problem for some of us. AKHG, your accommodation would be much appreciated.
Men's AKHG Roadless Standard Fit Pants
Sometimes the “trail” you were following turns out closer to a deer path with a blaze marker or two along the way. While excursions have their curveballs, Roadless® pants keep you always at the ready. They’re built rugged and flexible out of 90% nylon/10% spandex anti-snag fabric that handles thorny situations without complaint and moves through every motion without a bind. Plus, the double-weave fabric’s texture keeps it raised off your skin, enhancing airflow on muggy days in the wild. UPF 50 sun protection helps keep your skin from crisping up in the sun (along with the sunscreen you always pack, right?). With even more performance built-in, like a water-and-spill-shedding DWR fabric protection and an anti-odor treatment that fights trail funk. Pull a pair on and go roam far from where roads will ever go.

You don't know you even have them on.
If you were going to have a contest to design pants, but you wanted them to be as useless as possible, these pants would win hands down. The entrance to the front pockets is too high and hard to get your hands into. Even worse, if you wear a belt, the belt blocks the entrance to the pockets. Finally, the pockets are too deep for hiking. Your keys sink way down deep and bang against your thigh with every step.
I bought these because they were advertised as "built rugged ... anti-snag fabric that handles thorny situations without complaint" but the picture speaks from itself, everything snags on these & thorns poke right through. The pants are nice and flexible, breathable, and dry quickly, but honestly these should be advertised to wear to the gym not out in the field. After about a dozen cycles of use and washing the fabric is all pilled.

These pants are perfect for the hot summer months working outside. They are the most breathable and light pants I've owned, and the ability to move with literally no restriction is unlike any pair of pants I've ever worn, it's a game changer. Not sure when these came out but I just discovered them I'm going to buy my 3rd pair to keep as replacements. One caveat due to the "stretchy" kind of fabric used I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to abrasive materials. But in my case where I work while kneeling a lot, now I just get in a deep squat with the increased mobility these pants offer. Highly recommended.
