rubs against the sides and frays every time you strap on

Exactly what I said it rubs against the side of the belt every time you strap it on. Or connect it or tighten the belt basically every time you tighten it it frays. I wonder how long the bet will last.

The belt is either marked the wrong size or runs small.

I wish this belt would work because it appears to be a great belt. I ordered 2 belts from Duluth, and this one is inches shorter than the other belt. Both belts are suppose to be the same size.

Get this

Very nice belt. Hefty construction with a basic belt and buckle. Looking forward to long time use w/o the buckle holes wearing out. Recommend ordering in a size up. I'm a 36 and got a 38. It wears at 3 to 4 holes in. Perfect for me.

A great belt at a very good price.

This belt fits me well and looks great with my cargo shorts. The leather is soft and pliable, so it is comfortable to wear. I am very well pleased with this product and would indeed recommend it to a friend.
