I'm 54 years old and I have never had a slip on boot, I love love love these boots!!!
Men's Danner Bull Run Chelsea Boots
No doubt about it. Danner® Bull Run Chelsea Boots live up to their name with a stampede of USA-made durability and comfort. Before the full-grain oiled leather makes it into any boot, each hide goes through 7 rigorous tests to ensure it’ll conform to your foot and endure years of jobsite trampling. Over time it’ll mold to your foot to feel like a protective and secure-fitting second skin. A cushioned footbed softens each heel strike and a steel shank prevents torsion, so rough terrain never throws you off your stride. Underneath it all is an oil- and slip-resistant, EH hazard-rated Danner Wedge outsole that fights fatigue and won’t track gunk into your truck. Hoofin’ it never felt better.
- Built in the USA with know-how that dates back to 1932
- Brawny full-grain oiled leather upper resists moisture, lasts longer with less maintenance
- Unlined for lighter weight and cooler comfort when you’re hot-footin’ it on the job
- Stretchy side elastic gore for speedy entrances and exits
- Non-marking Danner® Wedge outsole is oil- and slip-resistant
- ASTM F2892-11 Electrical hazards certified
- Made in USA. Some components may be imported.

Something changed in these boots since I bought my last pair 3-4 years ago. The new ones have a very hard plastic heel cup that sticks into the inside of the boot, and it wore through my heel. I'm going to return them.
Comfortable right out of the box. Seem to be durable and are surprisingly good on snow/ice for traction.
I have hobbit feet. So i got these Danner boots in wide and i am so happy that i did. Fit is great. Comfort is great. Ladies say they are stylish. I will stick with Danner boots for a while now!
This is the 3rd pair of Danner Bull Run Chelsea Boots I have purchased. They are the most comfortable, lightest weight (non-steel-toe) boots I've owned, which makes it easier on my knees. I wear them all day, every day. The soles provide plenty of traction on the concrete floors at my shop. I would recommend them to anyone. I recommend you try them on before buying if you can. I have to purchase the wides. Not sure if that's because they run narrow, or my foot has changed as I get older.
