Ever since the early versions of the DOTF pants, I have wanted a version I can pass for office casual.. I'm a larger guy that works in an office setting, but often have to crawl under machines etc. The DOTF stretch along with relaxed fit is a perfect combination. The previous version with the subtle side pocket worked, but these fit the bill even better. I rarely used that lower side pocket and if you ask me, it was an awkward place to store a cell phone you want quick access to anyways. The new zippered pocket within the right side pocket is different, I usually used the inner pocket sleeve to store my little leatherman.. which was perfect for quick access, I'll get used to the new method likely by just leaving it unzipped most of the time at work. At home or for travel however, I love having zippered pockets to secure things from falling out or being swiped. The zippered pocket in the rear, I didn't even realize it was there until I read one of the negative reviews. It definitely is NOT hard to access. But it's inside a normal non-zippered pocket, so just don't use it if you can't reach it! I tend not to use my rear pockets at all, so makes little difference to me. The main thing I wish, is that there were more color options.. such as the original bark type color, blue and olive green like they've had for previous versions/other models.

You folks need to quit screwing with your designs. The only thing you should have done is add another side pocket to the style that you trashed. You continue to overestimate the cargo pant, and add useless pockets. No one wants to dig halfway to there knee to find their phone, and definitely don't want to carry them in a zipper pocket on the front of the leg. My other gripe is the consistency of fit, not sure if you switch to cheaper suppliers or there is bad quality control. I buy Duluthflex Carpenter pants and it's all I wear at work because I can actually reach my phone and clip a pocket knife. The last three times I've ordered online, I've had to take back because the fit is always different. Fix everything above please. I love Duluth but it's time to get back to basics, simple USABLE pants.

When I need extra pockets, I wear cargo pants. These are the perfect balance of lightweight and ready for dinner.
