Pants are great but please take the huge logo off the pocket. Completely ruins the aesthetic and makes them less appealing for nicer situations.

I've been buying clothes from Duluth for years, and specifically these pants. I've always given 5 stars, but today I have to give 4 because of a recent change you made to these. I work in IT and dress business casual every day. However, I got tired of dress slacks getting ruined because I'm always working on hardware, under tables, desks, and crawling around on floors. I do like that the fabric has gotten more pliable over the years as it keeps them looking dressy enough to pass for business casual. However, the recent change to a Duluth branded patch on the back pocket is a step back. I hate this new feature, and it almost turns me off to the pants completely. Since I wear these pants in a business casual setting, I always admired that they looked dressy even though they were more like jeans. However, with this new Duluth branded patch on the rear pocket, they look more like Jeans and don't quite pass as business casual in all areas anymore. I understand the need to advertise your brand, but I wish you could come up with a less in-your-face way of doing it. Not to mention, I foresee this patch getting worn over time or even coming off and making the pants look even more tacky. Also, I'd love to see a green color offered in the standard fit version of these. A frontier green would be great, I could care less about the black or wood ash colors. I've always bought gunmetal and desert khaki but would also buy frontier green if offered.
These fit well (true to size), are very comfortable, and have a stretchy waist which I love. One reviewer said it best: "Perfect for office casual" but I work in the woods, not an office. 8 oz. fabric! Give me a break! I wore the original 14 oz. cargo pants for years before they started to fray. The discounted price was probably about right for these slacks.
Great fit and movement.
I recently purchased 2 new pairs. Unfortunately you have chosen to use a lighter weight fabric and put a large label on the bottom of the right rear pocket. I have been purchasing these pants for several years and still have 7 pairs of the old version hanging in my closet. The label on the original pants is covered by my belt and that was ok, otherwise I do not like large visible labels on my clothing. And due to the reduction of the weight of cloth you are now using I will no longer be buying these pants. If you change it back let me know, I would be glad to begin purchasing them again. I have copied my wife as she is the one who actually has been purchasing them for me. Now here is my (the wife's) review: I buy these pants every 6 to 10 months. I bought them in October of 2024. I noticed right away that they were thinner. Just three months after wearing them they appear worn out. The fabric became even thinner and old looking. I removed the labeling on the bottom of the back pocket with ease. However the previous label made of leather and on the waistband made them classy looking. Like others they seemed to have a larger fit. Like many others I will not be buying them again. Oh yah, your marketing / catalogs used to be better too! You took a unique company and changed to be like everyone else. By the way, we lived in Duluth for 26 years and loved your store there.
