I have worn these pants for years now, working as a handyman I really liked the oversized pockets and kneepad slots. I have probably owned 8+ pairs, and replace them as needed, usually after a year or more of rough wear. HOWEVER, they seem to have changed the fabric recently as my last two pairs have ripped and worn out in less than 2 months. Same jobs, same work, same treatment, same wash/dry, so it must be the pants. Looks like other reviewers have seen similar results lately. Such a bummer for what used to be a fantastic work pant.

First they don't have the original fire hose fabric. Then they took off the back pocket flaps that kept your wallet etc. in. Now they changed the front pocket from a slant to straight across that you hardly get your hand in. I looks like they are trying to make these look like a dress pant, not a work pant. I WON'T BE BUYING THESE ANYMORE. They also changed the ULTIMATE cargo pants so I won't buy them either.
I ordered 3 pairs of these towards the end of November all on 1 order. They shipped me 1 pair and then ended up charging me 2 different transactions on 2 separate dates. I did finally end up getting a 2nd pair several weeks later but never the third and was total charged for 3. Also they were too short so I wanted to exchange them for longer ones. I called 4 different times and was on hold at least 30 to 45 minutes each time. Was assured this would get worked out. I chatted online 3 times and sent numerous emails and it never did get worked out. The last time I chatted with them online they said too many people had been involved and they would turn this over to someone else in another department but that has now been weeks ago and still no contact. I have made 1000s of online orders over the years with different merchants and this was by far the worst online ordering experience I ever had. It's a shame because I really like the product.
These are the greatest pants I have ever purchased! I bought a few pairs (years ago) and I wear them whenever I have a scrap run or working on the floor (they have knee pad inserts). They're perfect with the knee pads as well as with Alaskan Hard Gear thermal underwear. Mine took years of serious abuse and are just now starting to tear (probably from washing so many times).
Got given these as a christmas gift in 2024 and loves the fit and utility. I bought another 4 so i wouldnt wear them out super fast. I wash with cold water and air dry only. I always wear a belt and am slim with smaller legs. I do commercial electrical work and it requires a lot of ladder work and squatting which os why the flex works so well. But after 10 to 12 months i noticed a hole in the crotch. The inseam also fits just fine. The triple stitch design doesnt do anything if the material holding it all together is bad. Its worrying that i now have 4 other pairs of "work" pants that will probably just fall apart.
