I've owned a lot of Duluth pants. The fabric is what drove me to this particular robe. So far after having about a week it's been great. I am 6 foot 220 pounds and I bought the extra large. Probably could've gone down a size or maybe even two for a slimmer fit. At first, I thought the pockets were placed a little odd but now I realize they're not hand pockets. They're not side cargo pockets. They're kind of somewhere between back pockets and cargo pockets. Which seems to work for the robe when I put my phone in the pocket, I don't have it flop it around from the extra weight.
I'm guessing this one didn't get the usual Duluth oversight, like they outsourced it to some California think tank. I'm 6'6" tall 290lbs and the 2XLT usually fits me like a glove, however this robe has 35" sleeves and the side pockets are not for hands as they have a velcro flap and open at the top. Slash pockets would make so much more sense. Like front pockets should be. But alas no 👎 Sorry my only negative review to date of anything Duluth. But sadly this one's a miss.
Great product and very useful. Keeps you warm on those cold mornings in Michigan!
This item is made from the familiar and durable Fire Hose material and has a very effective, warm fleece lining. As a result it's bulky and putting it on is much more like putting on a coat than a robe, but in our cold northern nights I'll happily accept the added bulk for the extra warmth. The hood is generously sized and works well. The length is perfect for me, although I'm a bit on the short side. My only gripe, echoing other reviewers, is that the position of the side pockets is awkward - they are too far back on the sides to be easily accessible. They do have flaps, a plus, and the flaps can be tucked into the pocket interior if you're not a flap kind of guy. I also wish they had put a third belt loop in the middle of the back - it seems like a cheap corner to cut on an otherwise excellent product. All that said, I'm very happy with the purchase.
