I waited for this item to go on sale and was NOT disappointed. the neck is a little constricted compared to the other Doubleback snap fleece, so it messes with the longer beards. compared side by side to a thick virgin wool Indian blanket and it's pretty hard to tell the difference! I wish I had grabbed it early enough to get the red plaid but very satisfied with the solid green! more colors = more purchases!

Color: Deep Sage Multi Plaid
Back in a wilder era, outdoorsmen wore thick, warm garments of pure wool to ward off the cold. These durable, colorful garments did the job admirably — if you didn’t mind their heavy weight, finicky upkeep or the extreme itchiness of the wool. Today, you can chase away chills with a mock that boasts all the character, yet none of the drawbacks of those intrepid originals. It’s crafted of premium 370gsm poly/acrylic fleece with all the heft, substance and warmth of felted wool. Reach Gussets® give you unlimited arm and shoulder room. What’s more, this mock is intensely soft and can be tossed right into the wash — no special treatment required. Faux suede at the sleeve openings, bottom hem and placket completes the vintage vibe.

Bought this for 6'5" muscular husband with broad shoulders, first in XL, then in L. Most of his other fleece pullover shirts are XL. This particular XL swallowed his upper body, with so much excess material at neck, shoulders, chest, torso, and waist that it was immediately returned. Requested replacement with L size. Again, excess material throughout: He would have been able to wear 5 or more layers under that shirt and still have room. He's not worn a M size shirt in his entire adult life. The material is very stiff, too, but the navy blue color with orange highlights is great, as is the actual construction (stitching, snaps, etc.) He will never wear in public, because he'd look like a clown. What a disappointment!
Got very used to this. It was stiff at first, after break in, feels good. Wind does blowup the back . Relatively warm, I'm 68, and not as active as I used to be, nice inthe house at 60 degrees, water repellent too.
Wore this as base layer in 20* weather, very warm! One thing I'd suggest to improve the design would be to add a way to cinch around the waist to keep drafts out! Otherwise, I like this a lot.
My husband loves this! He always complained of being cold... not anymore! The colors are vibrant without being garish and the soft feel of the fabric (not itchy at all) makes it cuddly, too. Size is great for pulling over other winter shirts, not tight, nor baggie! Bring on the cold!
