Fits great, looks great, but I didn't realize they had no back pockets. There's no need to have less pockets. :/

Size
I was so excited to see the Breezeshooter shorts back! They are my favorite shirts! But, when I tried them on, my original size was too small. I don't care for the big flap pockets on the side of my thigh, or the side pockets. Plus there are no back pockets. The fabric is not the same in the new version either, it doesn't really have the stretch like the older version does. However, I do love the navy color! I hope you can bring back the older version soon!
The fit is great. They don't ride up. The material is soft and comfy.
I really like these shorts for the hot humid days of Florida August. I have been wearing them daily since I purchased them. They fit well and hang well. The legs are just perfect, not too tight or loose. I am not a fan of elastic in the waist however this is barely noticeable and adds extra comfort for my narrow waist compared to my hips. Pockets are great and fit my phone.
I bought these after trying them on in the store. I realized the material is different, which is fine. I like the old material better and am still wearing my breeze shooters I bought in 2018. These do run small, I wear a 10 and needed to go to a 12 for proper fit. These are fine to wear around town, maybe gardening. I like the breezeshooters for work. I work at an independent garden center. Because of the gravel, its 10 degrees or more at work, I primarily work outside in the summer months. I carry a phone, walkie talkie, paper, pen, scissors or pruners. The side pockets do not work for the larger items, Bend over, drop phone, etc, Back pockets would make these wearable to work. I'm disappointed, but I do like them.
