I have a pair of the old style and they are wonderful, haven't worn out and still repel water a bit but the newer ones are thin and start tearing, working in fish hatcheries, squatting and pick up feed bags is constant and they are splitting around the crotch gusset

I have purchased several pears and every zipper has broken.
Compared to the standard fire hose material the flex lasts half as long and cost more. I have had somewhere around 50 pairs of these often thr years and when the flex first came out I discovered they didn't last. After that I stayed with the less expensive non flex fire hose material. Now they have discontinued them. I gave the flex another try and again was let down by there quality. I will be finding another brand to buy from.
I bought these for my husband for Christmas 2024, and he actually really liked them and said they're very comfortable. He's not using them for heavy duty outdoor work, but he liked them enough that he wanted another pair. The problem is that the button came off today, and it's only January 2nd! He's worn them 3 times!
Nice pants with enough pockets, these pants you can wear just about anywhere, great for traveling
