Bought size med a few yrs ago for our Red Bone Coon Hound and has since passed. Now our 1.5 yr old Goldendoodle loves as well as our 2 little dogs (terrier and lasa apso), it has endured many yrs of use and the cover washes beautifully and still looks brand new-every so often I put the bolsters and cushions out in the sun. It has been a wonderful investment for our beloved pets! Thank you for making high quality products!
Fire Hose Bolster Dog Bed
It was already our toughest, cushiest canine couch, but that didn’t stop us from building some impressive upgrades into our Fire Hose® Bolster Dog Bed. Like always, it features a pup-pleasing combo of thick sherpa fleece and resilient memory foam that creates a soft, warm sanctuary for your fur buddy. But now we’ve added a water-resistant barrier under the sherpa fleece that’ll prevent wet messes from oozing into the bed’s interior. What’s more, a new pillow bottom adds even more lofty comfort, and open-cell foam sides give the supportive bolsters better stability. Rugged 11.5-oz. Fire Hose cotton canvas sides and base stand up to rowdy hounds and shed wet, oily stains. If you’ve got a particularly dirty dog, consider picking up an easy-on/off spare cover (search #70403) for convenient cleanup.

We bought a bed from here (same size) about 2 years ago & both our dogs fought over it so much that we recently decided to buy another. EXCEPT, its not the same bed AT ALL. They changed the materials. This new bed is LOUD & not comfty at all. It sounds like my dogs trying to put on sweatpants in the middle of the night. My great dane is old (7) for a dane (life span 10-12) & his hips arent what they use to be, but still, he would rather sleep on the floor than this bed. Waste of money.
The bed is awesome for my senior sweetie cat who sometimes prefers the raised edges. It's great because you can take it apart and wash the entire cover. I find placing blankets over it helps make it easier to maintain. But yeah, I bought it for my cat's as I don't have any dogs (but love them too), and my eldest loves it.
I'm sad that anyone would disagree, but this is the BEST dog bed!! Our 85lb pit-mix literally ripped to shreds basically ANY other bed, but we bought him this 5 years ago and we are JUST replacing it now!!

We purchased 2 of the XL beds , one for upstairs and one for the first floor for our Labrador retriever who is about 85 lbs. The beds flattened out, and the flannel top wore poorly and the top separated from the back on one of them. I love the colors we have but that doesn't do the job. This is way too much money for the quality. It just doesn't go with the Duluth reputation.
