The foot fits fine, even though I bought a size larger than usual, but the calf is so tight it is painful to pull on.

What you're biased against short or younger people with smaller feet ? Why no size small ? A medium size sock would come up to my thighs !
Husband loves these. No shrinkage and he loves the way they come up past his calf. They don't ride down in his work boots and he can be in them all day. His feet do not sweat in this sock.
I am super happy with these socks. They work great for wearing with motorcycle boots. They are not compression but seem to compress a bit.
Bought 3 pairs, 6 socks. 5 were fine fit well, number six won't get to the calf, let alone over it. This is the second time I have ordered socks from Duluth and they fell short of expectations. You used to be my goto for socks, but looks like I'm going to have to move on.
