George LOVES to pull the stuffing out of plush toys. He gets to it pretty quickly, even with the highest rated rough toys. This one (fish shape) he has yet to destroy! You can see he has a stuffy that he likes to lay on while he chews on the tail toy. I will be buying one for all my doggo friends. Note: IF he does get a piece off… it is super small and he doesn't eat it.
I bought two of these bones. One for my Doberman and one for my grand dog, a young golden retriever. The golden is still chewing away on hers, but my Doberman, Aksel, literally ate half of his within minutes! I had to throw it away. So, before you buy this for your pup, ask yourself, how does my dog play and chew? Aksel showed no signs of tummy trouble after eating his bone, so I guess in that regard, it's pretty safe.
Really thought this would last longer than it did. It was for my english bulldog and lasted 2 hours. Would not recommend at all for any breed this size or larger.
Our dog Taco picked this out in store. We have 10,000 dog toys at home and did not need another one. But I bought it and he loves it.
