First made in the 1900s to show school spirit, pennants were originally crafted of wool felt and patterned, stitched and finished by hand. Our Best Made Camp Flag is proudly made in this same tradition by the skilled craftspeople at Oxford Pennant in Buffalo, New York. It’s carefully lettered with our “No Fire Without a Match” slogan to celebrate the virtues of self-sufficiency and preparedness.

Oxford Pennant was founded by two friends and fellow vintage pennant lovers who wanted to create keepsake-worthy wool felt pennants, flags and banners instead of settling for tatty versions made overseas.
