I have this old shaker-knit sweater that is mostly wool. I love that sweater, but over time and a few washings it has shrunk a bit and got pilly. Yet I couldn't bear to part with it. This brigadier sweater is the PERFECT replacement. It's even the same color. It is comfortable, roomy, and warm. It looks a lot like my old sweater, but is more versatile with the relaxed fit. So now I have a new favorite sweater! Caveat: I am a short person wearing an XXL. The sleeves come just to the ends of my fingertips. They are way too short for a taller person.

At last a heavy, warm, loose, mostly natural fiber sweater that's cut for my short, sturdy, apple body!! Rolled the cuffs and XL is perfect for me. Thinking about getting a second one
I loved the look of this sweater and it feels very heavy for winter. However, the amount of lint and color that comes off in the wash and just while wearing is unacceptable. It's also a bit too short in the waist. Overall, I don't recommend this - unless you like having blue fuzzies all over yourself and everything that touches the sweater.
Don't understand the negative reviews. This is a great cropped sweater! Yes, it's cropped! Very comfy, heavyweight fabric. Appreciate it's cotton and doesn't contain scratchy wool. Great price too. Runs a little big. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, and 34B. Got a size XS.
BUT SO CUTE! Fits big and billowing I love it. The gardenia is a beautiful color
