The arch is high, the foot bed is hard and has a waffle like texture. I've never worn Chaco sandals before, and had heard good things about them so I decided to try them. I was going to return them (bought online) but decided to give them a second chance. I guess I got used to them and decided to keep them, but for the price I thought they would be more comfortable.

I ordered these sandals because they have adjustable straps & no toe strap. I have very narrow & thin feet so when I tightened them up as much as I could, they were still too wide for me. Looking at the construction of them I decided that I could shorten the strap across the lower part of the sandal which would make me able to make them fit. I took about a 1/2" off and sewed them back up & they fit & look like they were made for me. Love the comfort of Chico's!

These sandals are so comfortable to walk in! I have a bit of plantar fasciitis in one foot and these have actually relieved that! They have a great arch!
