I like the overall look and quality of the hat, and it appears functional, but I don't like the advertising on the hat band. Also, I had not realized that the hatband & bow were sewn in place. I had hoped to be able to replace the band with other colors of material, and also to wash/iron it separately.

Terrific hats; ordered both colors, love the scarf trim.
I specifically looked for a hat available in a large size because most hats are too tight/uncomfortable on me. It is very hard to find variable size hats except online, so I appreciate being able to go to a physical store to try this on before purchasing. This one (in L/XL) fits well. It is still snug on me which helped when the wind picked up (one downside is no strap/strings to go under the chin), but no so much as to be uncomfortable. The fabric is lightweight/breathable and the whole hat can be crushed/folded and re-formed easily. After a week of tropical vacation without using sunscreen on my face, the only time I got sunburned was the one day I didn't wear this hat.
PRODUCT PERFORMED AS EXPECTED
Great fit, cute and flattering. It effectively keeps the sun off my face and looks so much nicer than my floppy hiking sunhats. It would make a cute gardening hat, but you could wear it for dressier occasions as well. I spent the afternoon at a parade and it kept the sun off my face and out of my eyes. I'm thoroughly delighted with it.
