Had my AWOL bag for six years. Travel every week for work and can get everything I need in it for a four day ten plus hour work week. Favorite piece of luggage. Recommend to anyone who wants a well made rugged travel bag. Mine has even been to Europe and back. Awesome!

Always wanted one of those great leather "club bags" your Uncle Harry used to take to the Athletic Club on Saturdays? Cowhide leather, hand-grips, wide-opening throw-in-your-stuff and look like a million bucks kind of bag? Duluth Trading Company: working man image, classy guy's satchel.
So let me start by saying I bought two of these, that's how much I like the AWOL bag. One is for traveling and the second as a new medical bag for home visits. The bag is spacious enough for a weekend of clothes and toiletries with room to spare for an extra pair of shoes, a few electronics and a small camera. The leather is soft and a nice medium brown. There's only one side compartment but that is enough. You could easily fit several small mesh packing cubes in it if you like more order to your packing. Time will tell how well it holds up but the leather and craftsmanship both look top notch.
I have been lusting after this bag for years. Took advantage of a sale and free shipping. The AWOL bag even comes in a nice cotton storage bag. Seems plenty large for a 4 to 5 day outing. Now I can't wait to see it in action and plan a trip! Just hoping my husband doesn't take it over. Key will be to not over pack.
