Sturdy construction, well proportioned bag

This is great bag, sturdy in its construction. Duck canvas/firehose material throughout, with metal buckles for the adjustable shoulder strap webbing. Purchased to transport a small number of work tools and affects with me on the subway; this bag has every indication of holding up well and being more or less self serviceable in the future.

Great While it Lasted

I loved this backpack. I used it daily for work. The plain exterior allowed me to add all my bird patches which was awesome. I've only had it a year and the seam of one of the shoulder straps has slowly come undone. I've tried to fix it but was not able to get the shoulder strap back on sturdy enough for me to be able to wear it comfortably. Overall it was a good backpack but didn't stand up to daily use.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Use it on my hikes…

Right size, well made, comfortable; but I couldn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't have an outside bottle holder. But you could earn another star if you (a) added a bottle holder AND (b) sold an after purchase add on water bottle kit, 😁

No frills

Very basic backpack. Wish it was a little bigger, had more outer pockets and a water bottle pocket. Pretty strange that it doesn't have one. Material seems very durable and it should last a long time.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
