CRKT Curfew
You’d never guess that a knife so sophisticated and functional is the brainchild of, well, a child. But not just any child. When renowned knifemaker Russ Kommer’s 8-year-old granddaughter showed him a rough sketch, the two teamed up to refine it into the Curfew™. The result is an EDC that breaks all the old rules. It’s so polished, you could pull it from your suit coat to peel the foil off a bottle of champagne. Yet it’s supremely practical. The 8Cr13Mov stainless steel blade deploys via an ambidextrous flipper tab and IKBS ball-bearing pivot system for smooth opening, then locks up firmly thanks to the firm liner lock. And the handle’s ivory-like resin and aluminum bolsters look classy at a cost that won't pinch your wallet. So while it was designed by a person young enough to have a curfew, this knife certainly doesn’t abide by one.
