I do not understand the poor reviews on this product I'm very upset this product no longer is being sold! Have used other knee pads that only last 3 weeks!!! I at least get a year out of these, now I can't even purchase these knee pads.

Bought these for work. I'm a carpenter in a facilities role. Fix carpet, floor tile, hang doors, etc. Was looking for something middle of the road for quality and price. Not constantly on my knees but there are days where it can be many hours. I've had these gems for a year. The padding what little there is, is completely gone. The Velcro that attaches them together has worn out and hardly sticks together. My favorite part about them is they have never stayed up no matter how tight you put them. You cannot walk across the room with them without them falling down. They are basically the ugliest shin guards you have ever seen. Horrible product. Don't waste your time or money. My new pads came today, tomorrow these hit the trash. Not even worth having them at home for odd projects.
My son is a carpenter in the North Country. He is often building outside in rough terrain. I gave him these knee pads for Christmas along with lined flex fire hose pants. The pad fit comfortably over the pants and articulate without shifting. He confessed that he was pretty stoked at showing them to the rest of the work crew. My love of American made Duluth products continues and is now purchased by extended family and friends
Knee pads started out good but went downhill fast. Bottom straps would not hold as they were not long enough to go ober coveralls. Velcro also wore out to fast. Bottom straps and sometime the top straps would come off in the crawl space. Could no longer use them- will try and return them
Delivery was good. Description of product is accurate. Used them for several days putting in a wood floor and so far they have held up. Comfortable as far as knee pads go. Easy to take on and off. If you have Earl Campbell thighs, upper strap probably would not be big enough to reach around leg. For the average to above average size dude, they work.
