I took a sec and measured my head and then looked at the size chart and ordered accordingly, (large) hat fix as expected, chin strap was the proper length (I could even tighten it a little if I wanted to) wore it outside in 29 degree weather and my head and ears stayed warm. Bought it during their half off sale, but its probably worth the full price if you have problems with the cold and your ears.

So far this is my go to hat for cold weather and I have a lot of hats. It's light and works in warmer or really cooled weather just flip the ear flaps down. Do yourself a favor and get one
