I've run these through multi-floral rose thickets in PA. Anyone from PA knows, that is as thick and thorny as thick and thorny gets... I've lived in 4 states and PA multi-flora rose is as bad as it gets. These are the real deal. I dont care if they feel as "thick" as the normal firehose pants. They keep the jaggers out of my shins and thighs. They do their job, and they do it well. Heavily recommended.

This product is awesome. I just love the pants. I have recreational land and I have some really nasty invasive thorny roses. Some of the thorns are almost an inch in length and these pants defend extremely well against them. I super wish you still had more of these in stock. I also wish you'd commission chaps so for those of us who already have fire hose pants, could wear these as very light additional protection. The material is so light that it keeps me from over sweating. P.S. Please make a dog jacket from that material. I know my hound would appreciate the light protective nature of it too.
I bought these pants to wear when riding my Harley on days when it doesn't rain much but the streets stay wet. The water resistant nylon facing is great for fending off the spray from my tires and othe traffic tires. When you don't really need a rain suit but want dry legs, these are perfect.
Bought these for my son, as his old upland hunting pants needed replacing. Was rather disappointed that the material was much thinner than I expected for fire hose pants. I guess I expected the same quality & thickness as the fire hose work pants - with a nylon facing. That was not the case here. They did fit him OK, but time will tell if they'll stand up to the thick, stiff-branched pines and black berry thickets that we hunt grouse in, in Northern MN. I also doubt they'll hold up to the briars, cattails and other brush in our pheasant hunts. I am not impressed for the price. I would say buy the fire hose work pants and be done with it - better quality for the money. Nylon facing is not that big an extra.
I bought these for my son for small game hunting. It is a high quality product and the fit is great. I ordered a larger size so he can wear pants underneath when the weather is cold. They are perfect. My only complaint is that they do not make them in enough sizes. I have longer legs and they are not available in my size. Too bad, cause I'd buy some for me too.
