Built for Where Work and Weather Hit Like a Battering Ram

More than 20,000 hearty souls work the winters up in Prudhoe Bay, where the ice road passes through Coldfoot and Deadhorse. Prudhoe Bay Bibs are as tough and resilient as they are. The lightweight, flat-faced, water-shedding shell borrows technology from bonded fleece athletic gear. But this is no “soft shell“ fabric. It‘s performance workwear made of heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant woven nylon twill with a windproof, highly water-resistant membrane. This shell is bonded to 100% polyester sherpa fleece for comfort and warmth. Guaranteed to deliver extreme wind- and water-resistance, warmth and durability without the weight. Side leg zipper zips to the thighs. Crouch Gusset® gives you ultimate freedom to crouch and move, and there's a knee-pad insert option when things get down and dirty. Includes storm flap and snaps to seal out snow, 8 pockets including hammer and utility pockets, flat utility loop, boot scuffs at leg openings, metal shank buttons and riveted construction throughout.

Amazing design but terrible quality

I am an electrician by trade and purchased these bibs for some upcoming confined space work in manholes. Upon receiving them I put them on to check fit and decided to wear them for some shopping and driving I needed to do in order to see how they felt sitting and moving around in. I did notice that they are right in the crotch while sitting down but otherwise I loved them. The pockets are deep so that objects, such as your phone, will sit below your waist. The buttons on the legs are also super easy to button and in button which is very nice in comparison to the other pair of bibs that I own. They also have a mesh sort of thing that seals around your boot via Velcro which is dope for waterproofing. Sadly this is where the positive parts end. I went to adjust the front Zipper to try and be more comfortable while sitting down and unbuttoned the front flap inorder to do this. When I went to rebutton then however I realized that the button had ripped out when I had originally tried to unbutton it. This is before having done any work in them or washing them, literally just put them on, did a little walking, and then sat in a car for 20 minutes driving and they already began to fall apart. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement as I waited 3 weeks for these to arrive just for them to immediately brake before I could even work in them.

Great experience and fast shipping

These overalls are great! They are very warm and keep the chill off. They seem very well constructed. I have always had great experiences with Duluth products.

Great for work and play

I got these primarily for keeping me warm on the job site. I love these they are plenty warm with out being too bulky. Super durable to boot. My only complaint is the hammer loop is too small to really be used and the tool pockets are only on one side. Doesn't seem to bother my wife she steals them all the time lol

Sturdy material. Great features.

I just got these bibs last week (to replace the ones my wife got me for Christmas that didn't work) and haven't really put them to work yet but everything so far is awesome. The material seems super sturdy and like it will last forever. I love the features. Lots of pockets and they're in the right places. Zippers are all well placed with big pulls and they seem like they will take a beating. Everything about these bibs feels like quality and robust/sturdy material. I've worn them a few times and every time I notice a new awesome thing. Today I noticed the pockets for knee pads. Didn't even realize those were there the first couple times I wore these bibs! Love the super deep pockets on the front. That way whatever I put in there is not likely to fall out while playing king of the mountain with my kids, or cutting firewood, or working under the truck, or driving the 4-wheeler around the woods etc. They are nice and warm. Today we walked about a mile to the library then sat outside and watched my boys play on the ice rink for a couple hours. I love the leg zippers. They come all the way up to my hip. Makes it a lot easier to get the bibs on and off while still wearing my boots. I'm 5'10" and about 215 and the Large size with a 32" inseam is good for me. I had to cinch up the shoulder straps all the way to get the bottom leg cuffs to not drag. Now it works great. I usually wear a 34" waist by 32" inseam on jeans. I fully expect I will have these bibs for a LONG time. Love them so far!

Well made with useful features.

Just received so I have not put them to work yet. Heavier insulation and outer shell than what I imagined from the description. Very pleased with the quality and features. I normally wear a 2XL in outerwear, which was the size ordered. I found that the fit was good if somewhat relaxed. I could wear a lightweight pair of pants with the bibs if I wanted to. Pleased with the purchase, almost looking forward to trying them out in the subzero temps.
