Men's Snagstop Sweats Full Zip Hoodie
When it comes to sweats, this hoodie is the ultimate overachiever. Sure, it has all the cushy softness and easy-moving comfort of standard sweats, but that’s only half the story. Because the Snagstop Sweats Hoodie features a smooth polyester outer layer that valiantly resists snags, rips and scrapes. And now it even repels moisture, so it’s an ideal choice for working in abrasive environments and damp weather. Inside, plush grid fleece traps heat, fights odor and wicks away sweat – feels cozy, never clammy or clingy. Fights odor too, to protect those around you from personal air pollution. Suit up in Snagstop Sweats for carpentering, landscaping, brush cutting, hunting – anytime you want to rip through the job instead of your sweats.

This hoodie is wonderful, and a few days after being purchased, it was put to the test! I weathered a solid 8 days in a cross-country roadtrip, surviving sun, snow, rain, cold morning, chilly evenings, and remained fashionable. I matched it with the Snagstop Pants, and that became my uniform as for the hours of daily driving. It's not a jacket, so pockets are limited, but I had no qualms or concerns about its durability of performance across such a wide range of environments and scenarios.

I beat the grey hoodie. Always have. Since age 12 I've owned a grey hoodie for the dirtiest of the dirty work. I call it "The Grey". For a while I bought cheap ones because well, I was going to abuse them. It didn't make sense to spend big bucks on something that would literally get covered in transmission fluid or grease. I got this one for the same purpose. To be my whipping boy. The sleeves seem a bit long. Maybe my arms are short. I dunno. Otherwise, it fits great, and has thumbholes in case you want to throw something over it like motor oil, or a jacket. This was never going to see polite society after day one, but it has held up well and has done a really surprisingly good job at shedding stains. Not even NASA could create a fabric that would stay clean the way I treat it, but this comes close. Get a grey. Put a whoopin on it.
It took months to exchange for correct size. Runs large and thumb holes are childish; but the sleeves are ridiculously long, basketball player long.
I really like this hoodie, and it's exactly what I wanted and expected it to be. It's probably not for everyone, though, and I will explain why. The material is very warm and soft, and it's also flexible and slightly stretchy. I note that because sometimes polyester fleece can be somewhat stiff or plasticy; e.g., I have a fleece from another brand with the same fabric blend that looks superficially similar, but it fits and wears much more like a jacket. This hoodie isn't like that at all; it's much cozier. Many other reviewers mentioned that the sleeves are super long, and that's definitely true. I'm about 6'5" with most of my height in my arms and torso. Large tall-sized shirts usually have sleeves that are just barely long enough for my arms. The sleeves on this hoodie come down almost fully past my palms. I think that may be because you're intended to use the thumb holes. Additionally, note that the fit is quite loose/relaxed around the belly area. There's a lot of extra material around my midsection, but the shoulders are perfect, so a smaller size obviously wouldn't fit me right either. The combination of the long sleeves, thumb holes, and very relaxed fit puts this hoodie squarely in the at-home loungewear category for me. However, that's also exactly what I wanted from it: something soft and cozy that even helps keep my hands warm. If that sounds good to you too, then this hoodie is excellent. If you're looking for workwear or something on the dressier side of casual to wear out to dinner, I'd suggest choosing something different.
