I bought several pairs of Dry on the Fly shorts in a size 4 and they fit great, so I ordered a pair of capris. Same fabric combination, same size 4, but the capris are quite a bit too tight in the waist and crotch. I am exchanging them for the next size up and hoping they will fit, as I really like the style.
Women's Dry on the Fly Capris
When hands-on women talk, we listen. So even though our Dry on the Fly® Capri Pants were already best sellers, our ears were wide open when you suggested some field-savvy improvements. Like adding a button-close waist for improved security and a wider back-elastic waistband that lies smoother than ever – never bunches or gaps when you bend. And upgrading to 8 useful pockets, including a zippered front security pocket, 2 streamlined cargo pockets, and a deep Pokey Things Pocket to prevent pruner punctures and screwdriver jabs. The one thing we didn't tinker with is the fabric – it's still tough-yet-lightweight nylon that wicks moisture, blocks sunburn and dries within minutes of getting doused. And we still weave in 3% spandex for better bendability, so you can take on any job with unrestrained enthusiasm.
- You asked, we listened: new and improved with button-close waist!

I bought two pairs in size 12. I have other Duluth pants in size 12 as well as leggings from Duluth in size medium. The Ink color pair fit perfect with a little room. The Smokey Tan color fits but the waist is pretty tight. I know others say the cut is smaller in these than before. I didn't own the previous version so I can't comment on that. Everything else about these capris I like and they will work fine for Arizona weather.
Bought 2 pairs of these capris for hot summer days and for travelling. I had them in black and then bought a 2nd pair in the ink color. I travelled overseas with just carry-on luggage this past summer and these were perfect to take as they were so lightweight. They are also good in light rain as they dry quickly. Highly recommend. Some posters complained about a snap issue. I never had this problem. I have one pair with the original snap and it was not an issue for me. My 2nd pair had the button. Actually I prefer the snap, but it doesn't matter too much overall.
I'm afraid the mesh in the pockets will rip and I'll lose my keys. Legs sort of have a weird flare on the bottom of the capri, so I rolled it up and hemmed it
I have a pair of these with the snap front.. LOVE the pants.. hated the snap. I was so excited when they improved the design to a button front I immediately ordered a second pair in a different color. However the waist is now too small. I am so disappointed in the fit and I can not wear these at all.. not gonna bother with a return, just giving them away.
