These didn't work for me. They kept sliding down my arm and the inner seam was so scratchy I tried to wear them inside out, still cant make them work for me.

I can't understand the positive reviews. I normally love duluth trading company stuff. This is a notable exception. They are uncomfortable and don't stay up. I don't live where there is a store and it's not worth paying the return shipping.
I got these because I had recently been put on a medication that causes me to burn more easily in the sun. It's easier to put these on than sunblock. I can easily tuck them into my purse and pull them out when ever I need them!
I primarily wear these in the car while driving to protect my arms and hands. They are perfect because I avoid having to wear sunscreen which rubs off on my doors, seatbelt, seat, etc.. I will also wear them outside to water plants or do something which is not too strenuous. I prefer to wear SPF clothing or sunscreen when I am out for extensive periods of time. Terrfic idea!
I purchased a pair of these a while back, loved them, but didn't need them often enough to buy more. I wore the old pair today in hot, humid weather and they definitely kept me cooler than having bare arms. Decided I wanted to purchase more. I did buy a second pair today—but the design is very different. My first pair is labeled M/L, is about 21" long, has nice flat seams, the thumb holes aren't bulky, and the top hem has a strip of silicone on the elastic that keeps the sleeves from falling down. The bottom hem is fabric only, which I like. I don't know if they've grown with use at all, but laying flat the top hem is 6.25" wide, and I can stretch it to 8.5" wide. The current design labeled L/XL is only 18" long and I miss the extra length. The lengthwise seam is no longer flat—it's only a small seam free inside, but I am very sensitive when it comes to clothing and the ridge might bother me. There's no longer any silicone to hold the sleeves in place and I can notice them creeping down after only trying them on, much less working. There seems to be elastic in both the upper and lower hems, and the thumb holes are reinforced. I can see where that would add durability for some people, but for myself I'd prefer to go without the extra thickness on my palms. Laying flat, the top hem is about 5.75" wide, and can be stretched to 8.5" wide. The top hems of both versions feel comfortable enough on my arms, though the M/L is a great fit and the new L/XL is tight (but still falls down). For reference, the top of my arm where I like the sleeve to come up to is about 14" around. All in all, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the new pair. The armachillo fabric is my only reason too. Hope they bring back the old design!
